Beach Rules
Glass containers are prohibited
Speed limit is 15 mph
No reckless driving
No littering (trash barrels are located all along the beach)
No motorized vehicles on sand dunes or off-road on private property
Only contained campfires and cooking grills allowed – NO BONFIRES
Camping is allowed
Pets must be on leash
Open container laws apply to all vehicles (including ATVs, ROVs and golf carts)
ATVs & ROVs
Although All-Terrain Vehicles may be driven on the beach, they are not allowed to be driven on public roadways—this includes shoulders, ditches or across the dunes. ATVs and ROVs must be transported by a road-legal trailer using a road-legal motor vehicle. Drivers under the age of 14 must be under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian.

Golf Carts
Golf carts are allowed and may be driven to the beach. The driver must have a valid driver’s license. You may only operate a golf cart on a roadway (including ditches) that has a speed limit of no more than 35 mph. YOU CANNOT OPERATE ON A HIGHWAY. You may cross the highway at a traffic control device, but only go straight across. You can only operate a golf cart between sunrise and sunset only, must have a Slow-Moving Vehicle triangle on the rear, and if equipped with safety belts, they must be worn.
